Cindy, Co-owner
From salon client to co-owner, Cindy joined forces with Sonia to open the full-service salon that Nail Boutique is today in 2009. Cindy’s no stranger to business ownership, however, as she has a former life in retail business management throughout the Carolinas. She also brings her flair for interior design and passion for fashion into every square inch of the salon. When she’s not helping where she can on the salon floor, Cindy is helping out the community through Wigs for Cancer, Relay for Life, and as a volunteer for Backpack Buddies.
Sonia, Co-owner/Nail Technician
To say that Sonia knows nails is an understatement. She has 30 years of experience as a nail technician here in Myrtle Beach, specializing in acrylics, and a legion of her clients will agree she’s one of the best in the industry. And if that’s not enough of a statement, Sonia is an international educator in the nail tech industry, and competed and placed in more than 100 international and national professional acrylic nail competitions. In 1996, she was even ranked No. 1 by Nails Magazine, a publication she’s helped with cover shoots in California. When Sonia is not making nails beautiful, she’s helping to improve lives as a board member of the American Heart Association.
Marie, Master Artist Nail Technician
You’re in good hands with this Myrtle Beach native. Marie has been a master artist licensed nail technician since 1986. With an associate’s in science, she is also a master educator, having instructed at Chris Logan and Strand College of Cosmetology, and a national educator for American International Industries. Here at the salon, Marie loves to educate her clients as well! Her specialty is pink and white French acrylics, and relaxation pedicures, while incorporating reflexology.
Kim, Nail Technician
Kim knows how to pamper your toes. The Myrtle Beach native, a licensed technician for the past 16 years, specializes in all therapeutic pedicures here at the salon.
Hank, Cosmetologist
Hank is an internationally trained image consultant with Vidal Sassoon of Toronto, Canada. For the past 15 years, the Myrtle Beach native has used his talents with image, pageants and theater to transform, cut and color hair – and make magic with makeup. Hank confirms that the salon here is like family, made up of a fun blend of personalities.
Allyson, Hair Stylist
Allyson has worked behind the chair as a licensed full-service hair stylist for more than 20 years. She’s the one to call on for any of your wedding hair and makeup needs; Allyson is trained with Mac Cosmetics in bridal and photography makeup.
Tammy, Nail Technician/Aesthetician
Tammy has been in the spa industry for more than 15 years as an aesthetician and nail technician. She graduated from Davidson Community College with a degree in aesthetics, and specializes in medical aesthetics, microdermabrasion and waxing. Tammy also works as a Jane Iredale Cosmetics consultant.
Cynthia, Cosmetologist
Cynthia loves meeting new people – and can’t wait to get to know you when you visit. The New York native has not only been a licensed cosmetologist for 25 years, but has specialized in nails for the past 15.
Eileen, Nail Technician
Eileen hails from Chicago, but calls Myrtle Beach and Nail Boutique home. She’s been a licensed nail technician since 1998, specializing in all aspects of nail care, with a focus on natural nails and pedicures. Eileen even offers the service of ear candling, an ancient technique that removes excess ear wax and impurities from the ears and sinuses.
Michelle, Massage Therapist
Michelle has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001. Her specialties are relaxation, deep tissue, acupressure and trigger point massage, sports massage, reflexology and pregnancy massage. But her talents don’t stop there; she also loves providing body treatments, like body scrubs and wraps, as well as scalp and foot treatments with aromatherapy.
Darley, Massage Therapist
Darley’s passion for massage therapy began in 2009, after she graduated from Horry Georgetown Technical College and became state board licensed. Her certifications are in hot stone therapy, contemporary and alternative therapies for back pain, muscular repositioning, fibromyalgia massage, swe~Thi massage techniques, auricular therapy, bellanina facelift massage specialist and more. Her ultimate goal for each of her clients is to nurture their mental, physical and spiritual balance – and develop a lasting relationship – all in a healing, safe, peaceful environment like here at Nail Boutique.
